ISTAT said Wednesday that it
forecasts Italy's GDP will grow 1.1% in real terms this year,
down from the prediction of 1.4% growth it made in May. The
national statistics agency said growth was "slowing" with
respect to 2017, when GDP rose 1.6%. ISTAT said it expects
growth to "accelerate slightly" in 2019, rising to 1.3%.
