Deputy Premier and
Labour and Industry Minister Luigi Di Maio on Monday called on
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) to take action after meeting
four of a group of five workers sacked at a plant at Pomigliano
d'Arco, near Naples.
"As far as I'm concerned, there must be a credible industrial
plan," Di Maio said after the meeting.
"I'll call on FCA to take on its responsibility because it is
a company that has had a lot from Italy and has given a lot to
Italy.
"In the next few days the talks on the auto sector will
continue and it is not out of the question that this session
will take place precisely in Pomigliano.
"I'm working on this".
