Deputy Premier and Interior
Minister Matteo Salvini said Friday that he was "starting to get
angry" amid a row between his League party and its coalition
partners, the 5-Star Movement (M5S), over the government's
'fiscal peace' plan.
The League leader is set to attend a cabinet meeting on this
issue on Saturday, having previously said he would not be
present.
The government has been rocked after Deputy Premier and
Labour and Industry Minister Luigi Di Maio said the decree
containing the fiscal peace had been manipulated without the
consent of the M5S to broaden the scope for people to close
disputes with the tax authorities.
"I'll listen to everyone, but I'm starting to get angry
because in that (previous) cabinet meeting (Premier Giuseppe)
Conte was reading and Di Maio was writing," Salvini said during
a rally in Trentino ahead of provincial elections there.
