Senior government officials are
set to hold another meeting on the 2019 budget package on Monday
ahead of a cabinet meeting later in the day, sources said.
A three-year meeting on Sunday reportedly failed to iron out
differences on the budget between the two coalition partners,
the League and the 5-Star Movement (M5S).
One of the main problems is the plan for a so-called 'fiscal
peace' for people involved in tax disputes.
The League is said to want measures to help people end these
cases for disputes of up to one million euros, while the M5S
reportedly wants it limited to cases of up to 100,000 euros.
