Govt wants to take us out of euro-PD

Wish they'd realize risks says PD leader

(ANSA) - Rome, October 11 - The government wants to take Italy out of the eurozone with its deficit-boosting budget, the head of the centre-left opposition Democratic Party (PD), Maurizio Martina, said Thursday.
"This government wants to take us out of the euro, it all leads there," Martina said on Italian TV.
"They have chosen it, for a need for permanent propaganda in view of the European elections (in May), to present themselves as saviours of the homeland.
"I am extremely worried, I'd like them to realise the risks".
Brussels has slammed the budget for hiking next year's budget deficit to 2.4% of GDP.
