School bullies' parents
who attack teachers are just as "destructive" as their children,
President Sergio Mattarella said Monday.
"We can't ignore that something has gone awry, that some
fabric has been torn in society," he said at the inauguration of
the school year on the island of Elba.
"Some serious incidents of violence - parents who have
attacked the teachers of their children - represent a signal of
alarm which must not be underestimated.
"The parent-bully is no less destructive than the
student-bully, the rejection of whom is increasingly growing in
the hearts of students, in school and on the Web".
