Sardinia's farm chief
Elisabetta Falchi quit on Wednesday after Sunday's
Constitutional reform referendum defeat spurred the autonomist
Rossomori party to leave the ruling centre-left coalition
government. It is the second resignation following the No vote
that was highest in Sardinia than any other region, at more than
72%. On Tuesday reforms chief Gianmario Demuro resigned. Falchi
is a member of the Rossomori while Demuro is in the centre-left
Democratic Party, which leads the coalition. The Rossomori,
whose name comes from the regional flag, said they were moving
to "unequivocal" opposition.
