Silvio Berlusconi had heart
tests Wednesday because of a slight arrhythmia, caused by recent
stress, at Milan's San Raffaele Hospital, hospital sources said.
Arrhythmia is a side effect that can affect 25% of people who
have had an operation to replace a faulty aortic valve, as the
former premier did in June, and is therefore not cause for
concern, they said. Berlusconi, 80, has been under unusual
stress campaigning for a No vote in Sunday's Constitutional
reform referendum, which was defeated.
