Former premier Silvio Berlusconi
went to Milan's San Raffaele Hospital Wednesday for a series of
tests following heart surgery almost six months ago, sources
close to his centre-right Forza Italia (FI) party said.
Berlusconi, 80, already went to the San Raffaele on November 27.
The three-time premier left the hospital after several hours,
looking visibly tired. He gestured to journalists with a hand
but did not answer any questions. The media tycoon had
open-heart surgery to replace a faulty aortic valve in June and
has only recently returned to the political fray at the head of
FI.
