The Riva Fire company, holding
of the Riva steel group who formerly owned the troubled ILVA
steel plant at Taranto, has changed its name to Partecipazioni
Industriali after going into administration Monday under an
industry ministry decree, sources said Tuesday. The
extraordinary commissioners are the same as those appointed for
ILVA: Piero Gnudi, Alfredo Laghi and Corrado Carrubba. The news
came amid a Taranto court hearing for alleged environmental
disaster caused by the steel plant, in which the company aims to
plea bargain.
