European Commission
spokesperson Margaritis Schinas said Monday that "we don't
consider" the outcome of Italy's Constitutional referendum to be
a threat to the EU's financial stability. "We have seen
volatilty on the markets in the past, but today this is not
something that can force a development like that. The
authorities are prepared to face a situation of this kind".
