National statistics agency ISTAT
said Monday that the pace of Italian growth was stabilizing.
"The recovery in the leading indicator shows a perspective
stabilization of the economy's growth pace," ISTAT said in its
monthly report on the Italian economy. It added that the 0.3%
rise in GDP in the third quarter with respect to the second "was
characterized by the improvement of the value added in the
manufacturing sector and the recovery in investment".
