Rome Mayor Virginia Raggi said
Wednesday she will appoint two cabinet members to fill vacant
posts on her executive this week. "The names of the cabinet
members will be made known this week," she said. "I split up the
tasks as was my initial idea, because the reorganization of
city-owned service providers should be managed separately from
the budget and city assets". She told reporters she "won't
guarantee" one of the two new cabinet members will be a woman.
"Still on about the gender quotas?" said Raggi, who was elected
the capital's first woman mayor in June this year. "I'm aiming
for quality".
