Reform Minister Maria Elena Boschi
announced Monday that the government's banking decree will face
a confidence vote in the Lower House on Tuesday, by request of
the Renzi government.
The new law - which contains a reform of Italy's
cooperative credit banks (BCCs) and measures on State-backed
securitization guarantees of non-performing loans (NPLs) -
passed the Senate on a confidence vote in April.
The final vote on the decree is set for Wednesday morning.
