Giorgio Squinzi, the president of
industrial employers' confederation Confindustria, said Monday
that he will be happy if Premier Matteo Renzi keeps his pledge
to cut the IRES business tax, but he also suggested that he will
only believe it when he sees it. "We'll be really happy if the
taxes are cut, but let's see if they really are cut," he said.
Renzi's government has also promised to scrap the IMU property
tax on household's first homes in the 2016 budget law.
