The Bank of Italy said Tuesday
that the forecasts for 2015 and 2016 in the government's
economic blueprint, the economic and financial document (DEF),
were "plausible" while adding that there were short-term risk
factors, including uncertainty about Greece's situation. "The
uncertainty about the outcome of the negotiations on the Greek
government's adjustment programme remain high and may induce
volatility into the financial conditions," the Bank of Italy
said in a report to a Senate hearing on the DEF.
