RAI editor-in-chief Luigi Gubitosi
said Monday the national public broadcaster will no longer
broadcast videos made by the Islamic State (ISIS) fundamentalist
insurgency. "We took a decisive position as a public service
company," Gubitosi told a Lower House Internet regulation
committee hearing. "We will not broadcast the ISIS propaganda
narrative". The committee is drawing up a charter to "protect
human dignity from abuses stemming from...incitement to hatred,
violence and discrimination".
