Staunch Renzi critic Stefano Fassina said Monday he won't take
part in a vote by the Democratic Party (PD) executive body on
the premier's electoral reform bill. "Let's prevent the PD
having a rate of conformism higher than that in the the North
Korean Communist Party," Fassina told fellow party members. "In
the 15 months since Renzi became party secretary I have never
heard one of his supporters voting against him, or even
expressing a single doubt," he added.
