Bank of Italy Governor Ignazio
Visco said Friday that he did not agree with Bundesbank chief
Jens Weidmann's assessment that the European Central Bank's
quantitative easing will reduce the pressure on Italy and France
to adopt structural economic reforms. "That's not the way it
is," Visco told reporters at the World Economic Forum in Davos
when asked about Weidmann's comments.
