5-Star Movement (M5S) leader
Beppe Grillo Thursday blamed President Giorgio Napolitano for
shutting his opposition grouping out of office, despite it
having won 25% of the vote in the last national election.
"The Movement is an interpretation of life 20 years hence,"
Grillo told a news conference at the Foreign Press Association.
"We are inside a party structure where they put us in a
corner, they allied (against us) thanks to the President of the
Republic," claimed Grillo.
"We who received 25% (of the vote) should have governed,
why didn't they give us the mandate (to form a government)?"
Grillo asked.
