Forcing companies and individuals
to publish their earnings online from June will give the
government "a big hand" in fighting rampant tax evasion, Premier
Matteo Renzi said Friday.
Renzi said 300 million euros had already been recovered but
a "huge" amount remained, which could be got not by raiding
resorts but by cross-checking bank data.
"The area of real recouping, which is huge, is not got with
surprise raids at Cortina or Pontevecchio," Renzi said.
