The union of Italian Automobile
Journalists (UIGA) on Tuesday elected the Alfa Romeo Giulia
European Car of the Year for 2017, beating another 20
contenders.
The Giulia got 293 points, ahead of the Citroen DS3 with
113 points and the Maserati Levante with 69 points.
Of the other Italians in the ranking the Fiat Tipo came
fifth with 64 points, just behind the Peugeot 2008 with 65.
The Ford Focus RS came top in the sports car category.
