A total of 9.409 million
viewers, or 46.7% of the overall audience share, watched the
third night of Italy's popular Sanremo song festival on State
broadcaster RAI's flagship Rai1 channel, according to data
released Friday on the previous night.
The viewer data was in line with the second night of the fest
directed for the second consecutive year by singer and
song-writer Claudio Baglioni.
It was inevitably down on the 10.825 million pulled on the
third night in 2018, which had an audience share of 51.6%, the
highest since 1999.
Among the highlights of Thursday's show from Sanremo's
Ariston theater was a performance by much loved singer Antonello
Venditti.
