Italian tenor Andrea
Bocelli has been nominated for a Grammy Award for Best
Traditional Pop Vocal Album along with the likes of Bob Dylan
and Barbra Streisand, sources said Tuesday. The awards ceremony
will be held February 12 in Los Angeles.
The prolific and award-winning 58-year-old has reportedly
released sixteen pop and classical studio albums, 22 singles, 11
complete opera recordings, and three live albums. He was
nominated for Best New Artist at the 1999 Grammys and for an
Academy Award in the same year.
