The fifth edition of the HOMI
lifestyle trade fair opened Friday at the Rho fair grounds near
Milan.
The fair running until February 1 is replete with products
and design ideas brought by 1,400 exhibitors, including 280
international ones from 40 countries.
It is divided into nine themes: Living Habits, Home
Wellness, Fragrances & Personal Care, Fashion & Jewels, Gifts &
Events, Garden & Outdoor, Kid Style, Home Textiles and Hobby &
Work.
HOMI also includes theme-based sections such as Homi
Sperimenta, which focuses on research, and the Creazioni
Designer area is for emerging talent.
"The focus of HOMI is to create opportunities for (small and
medium) businesses, and to promote Italian know-how as a
reference point for the world," Fiera Milano managing director
Corrado Peraboni said.
"We will continue to evolve the format, getting new creative
entities involved in order to make the fair into a benchmark for
current trends and a constantly evolving laboratory of styles,"
he added.
