Director Marco Bellocchios's
2015 film Sangue del mio sangue (Blood of my blood) received
only brief applause following its first press screening at the

one that occurred in the 17th century and the other in modern
times.
It is one of four Italian films in competition at the Lido.
Bellocchio has won two David di Donatello prizes for best
director, in 1980 for Salto nel Vuoto and in 2010 for Vincere.
In 2014 he won the David di Donatello prize for his career.
Blood of my blood stars Roberto Herlitzka, Pier Giorgio
Bellocchio, Filippo Timi, Alba Rohrwacher, Federica Fracassi,
Lidiya Liberman and Fausto Russo Alesi.
