The most die-hard
fans of Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter
movies, aren't the young Giffoni Film Festival jurists or even
the nearly 1,000 others who managed to grab a ticket to the Meet
and Greet with Felton, but rather the hundreds who brought
sleeping bags to camp out in front of the Cittadella cinema
awaiting Felton's arrival Tuesday.
Festival Director Claudio Gubitosi spent time chatting with
many of the "campers" on Monday evening and Festival President
Pietro Rinaldi distributed three hundred croissants among the
young fans on Tuesday morning.
"It's exciting to see how many young people come to Giffoni
from every corner of our country. We like to welcome them with
little gestures like the one this morning, because we want them
to feel at home," Rinaldi said.
