Everything will be "nearly ready"
when the Milan Expo 2015 world's fair opens on May 1,
Commissioner Giuseppe Sala said Wednesday.
"We'll be very close to having everything ready," he said
at the presentation of the Verdi orchestra's programme of 140
concerts in 12 Milanese venues during the event that ends on
October 31.
As for road access to the site at Rho north of Milan, Sala
admitted that "what we have done is not optimal but much has
been done".
He said access issues for the event would be explained at a
press conference Monday.
