President Sergio Mattarella on
Wednesday spent a half hour viewing paintings by Henri Matisse
at the Scuderie del Quirinale museum, located across the street
from the presidential Quirinal palace.
The exhibition titled Matisse Arabesque is made possible
with loans from prestigious collections around the world and
opens March 5 through June 21.
Lovers of the work of the celebrated French master will be
able to enjoy first-hand some 100 paintings, drawings, and
prints by one of the pioneers of modern art in the early 20th
century.
