Two girls have said that they were raped on a beach in Sardinia by four young men after an evening at a nightclub. The report was filed with the carabinieri and is being handled by the Tempio Pausania prosecutor's office, the same that is investigating a case of alleged gang rape by the son of Five Star Movement co-founder Beppe Grillo.
The news was reported by local daily L'Unione Sarda and ANSA received confirmation from the carabinieri. The four men, said to be footballers from Italy's southern Campania region, have denied the accusations.
