A man was indicted in Bergamo
Thursday for allegedly killing his wife by cutting her throat at
Seriate on the night of 26-27 August 2016.
Antonio Tizzani was sent to trial for allegedly murdering
Gianna Del Gaudio, a retired teacher.
The trial starts December 4.
Tizzani has denied the charges in several press interviews
but has always exercises his right to remain silent with
prosecutors.
At the time of the murder he said he saw a hooded man leaving
their home, but CCTV footage did not catch anyone.
He was also accused of domestic abuse, beating wife since
2007, police said, in fits of jealousy.
