Italy's competition and market
authority said Friday that it has fined troubled Rome transport
company 3.6 million euros over the cancelation of metropolitan
area rail services.
It said the "systematic and persistent cancellation of many
scheduled services" meant the company was not providing what it
pledged to.
The authority also reprimanded ATAC over "the lack
preventative information for consumers about the planned
cancellations".
