A doctor was stabbed in the
throat and died while going to her car after work at a hospital
at Sant'Omero near Teramo in Abruzzo Wednesday.
Ester Pasqualoni, 53, head of the hospital's cancer day
hospital, is survived by two children.
Witnesses said they saw a car driving off after she was
stabbed.
Police said they were looking for a suspected stalker.
