Italian school children are
"super-anxious" but make friends easily at school, according to
the latest Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development
report on the wellbeing of 15-year-olds.
Some 56% of Italian students are very nervous ahead of a test
compared to an OECD average of 37%, while 70% are very nervous
even when they've prepared well.
But 83%, compared to an OECD average of 78%, find it easy to
make friends at school - though foreign students, whether first
or second generation, are less well-liked than the OECD average.
