A lawyer on Thursday shot dead a
client in his office in Oria, near the southern city of
Brindisi, sources said. The lawyer, Fortunato Calò, asked
colleagues to call the Carabinieri police so he could hand over
the weapon and turn himself in after killing Arnaldo Carluccio,
45, according to an initial reconstruction of events.
