Seventeen people were arrested
on Wednesday and another person was issued with an order to sign
in with police in relation to April's multi-million euro bank
robbery in Turin.
Of the suspects, 13 were remanded in prison custody and
four - private security guards at the Intesa Sanpaolo bank
branch where the robbery took place - were placed under house
arrest.
The robbers made their strike during the April 25 holiday
weekend, emptying out hundreds of security safes containing
jewellery.
The booty was said to be worth 20 million euros.
