Italian police on Wednesday
arrested three teachers at an elementary school at Partinico
near Palermo on suspicion of physically abusing their pupils.
The parents of the children called in police who placed bugs and
cameras detailing physical and psychological violence including
verbal threats, slaps, pinching and kicks, also against a
disabled boy. There has been a string of cases of teachers
abusing their pupils at nursery and elementary schools in Italy
in the last few years.
