Police on Tuesday arrested a
man who lured a woman to Italy with the promise of a job on
social media, then beat, raped and forced her into prostitution.
Romanian national Daniel Andrei, 38, is accused of rape and
inducement to prostitution.
The investigation kicked off in June, when police found the
25-year-old victim, a foreign-born mother of three, crying and a
confused state in a Mestre parking lot, her face bruised and
swollen.
After being treated and released from hospital, she told
police her plight.
