A third mountaineer died on
Monday on the Swiss side of the Monte Rosa massif of the Alps.
The body of the climber, a 64-year-old Dutch citizen, was
found at an altitude of 4,200 meters (approximately 13,779
feet).
The bodies of two German mountaineers were retrieved earlier
on Monday.
The two died on the Verra Pass of the massif.
Today's deadly incidents follow on the deaths yesterday of
three Swiss mountaineers on the Piedmont side of Monte Rosa.
