A quake survivor
told ANSA Thursday she was missing her bed and peace of mind
after the 6.2-magnitude tremor flattened her home town here in
the Marche province of Ascoli Piceno.
"What do I miss the most? The first thing I miss is my bed,
but then you think that you only want serenity," said the woman,
who gave her name as Sabrina.
She was speaking in a tent camp that was put up to host the
homeless at Pescara del Tronto, one of three towns destroyed
along with Amatrice and Accumoli.
"We felt an earthquake again last night, but you feel safe
inside your tent," Sabrina went on to say.
"All in all the night went well, at least we're able to
describe what happened.
"And the rescue machine worked well".
But she added: "Everything is collapsing, and our nerves
are collapsing too".
