Rudy Guede, the Ivorian man
convicted of the 2007 Perugia murder of British exchange student
Meredith Kercher, is set to graduate in history Saturday at the
Viterbo prison where he is serving 16 years, his press office
said Wednesday.
Guede, who will defend a thesis on history and mass media
for Rome's Roma Tre University, has an average exam score of 29
out of 30, the office said.
American former student Amanda Knox and her Italian
ex-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito were acquitted of Kercher's
murder.
