Police on Thursday arrested a
fugitive who forced a Romanian minor into prostitution and
extorted 20,000 euros from her earnings.
Albanian national Asim Koleci, 29, was jailed after police
tracked him down and recognized him in spite of his fake
Romanian ID card.
Koleci had been sought since May 2015.
He is also accused of forcing another woman into
prostitution along with two accomplices - one Albanian, one
Romanian - and of taking her entire earnings of 100,000 euros in
July 2009-October 2011.
As well, Avellino prosecutors have an arrest warrant out
for him in connection with a 2012 home robbery.
