Police on Tuesday arrested seven
people on suspicion of belonging to a criminal organisation
linked to the Neapolitan Camorra mafia that operated in the
fruit and vegetable and mozzarella-making sectors in Rome.
Searches were underway in various regions across Italy.
The suspects are said to be leaders, affiliates or frontmen
of the Moccia clan operating in the province of Naples.
Assets to a total value of one million euros were also
seized in the operation.
