Two Australian tourists were
reported to Italian police for having sex on a park bench in the
historical centre of Florence on Monday night.
Passers-by informed police after spotting the couple at
around 23:45 on the bench in the Lungarno Torrigiani public
gardens, near to Florence's famous Ponte Vecchio bridge.
The 20-year-old man and 23-year-old woman are accused of
committing obscene acts in a public place.
Stares and surprise from onlookers seem not to have fazed
them and they only stopped when police officers arrived on the
scene.
