The Italian economy has pulled out
of recession, with economic growth reported in the first quarter
of 2015 for the first time in about four years. A gain of 0.3%
was reported for the January through March period compared with
a loss of 0.3% in the final quarter of 2014, said national
statistical agency Istat. The report will be good news for the
Italian government which has been pushing a series of reforms in
the hopes to stimulating the economy.
