Last year was "a black year"
for security and 2015 began on the same note with the terrorist
attacks in Paris, Jens Stoltenberg, general secretary of NATO,
said in a report Friday. "2014 was a black year for European
security. And as we enter 2015, the terrorist attacks in Paris
were a stark reminder of the threats and challenges we face".
Stoltenberg urged greater defence spending because, he said,
"our security environment has changed fundamentally".
