Costa Cruises, civil
defendant in the trial regarding the January 2012 shipwreck of
the cruise ship Concordia, delivered documents to judges on
Wednesday that show compensation payments totalling 84 million
euros.
The payments were made to 3,586 people, including
passengers, crew members, and families of 29 of the 32 victims
who were killed when the ship ran aground.
