(see related) A group of
around 20 hooded protestors against the TAV high-speed blocked
the Turin-Frejus motorway in the direction leading to the French
border on Wednesday. The demonstration took place after four
No-TAV protestors were sentenced to prison terms of 3 years and
6 months each for involvement in an attack on construction site
related to the controversial Turin-Lyon link. The four, however,
were acquitted of terrorism charges. Motorists on the motorway
were obliged to exit at Susa.
