Two members of a highway
maintenance crew died and a third was airlifted to hospital in
serious condition Tuesday after they were run over by a truck
while working on the side of a highway near Venice.
A passing truck ran into into their smaller parked truck,
which ran them over with fatal consequences, police said.
The truck driver called for help. One worker died on the
spot and a second died shortly after emergency services arrived.
