(ANSA) - Palermo, July 29 - Traditional 'buccellati' or Sicilian Christmas cakes from the Paolo Forti family-run company are on display at the Expo world's fair Bio-Mediterranean Cluster. The company has deep ties to the Sicilian territory and its pastry-making tradition. Paolo Forti first began producing biscuits in 1970 with the help of his aunt, who used to make all the household delicacies in the family home in the 14th-century town of Castelbuono in the heart of the Madonie mountains. The result is a mixture of tradition, experience and modern technology ensuring high-quality products known throughout most of the island.
